This
is an opening number I
wrote to the revue show
Young at Heart. The shows
central theme was elderly
nostalgia and retrospect
featuring tunes from the
20’s and 30’s,
war songs, and gospel.
An older generation was
the core audience so the
song was geared towards
making them feel better.
They may be old and gray,
but they are still “Young
at Heart”. |
